Proposal Information

Texas A&M Student Learning Center’s 6th Academic Peer Educator Conference

Conference sessions that address: current topics, emerging trends, research findings, specific programs/initiatives in place on campus, sharing ideas, etc. are welcome. Anyone with Peer Education experience is encouraged to submit a proposal…especially students! Presenters will be given 50 minutes to present. Proposal deadline is September 7th, 2012.

Selection Criteria

Program proposals will be reviewed for selection based on appropriateness, creativity of approach, and/or demonstration of expertise by presenters. Evidence of assessment will strengthen the proposal.

Other Information

Conference organizers are able to provide LCD projectors and computers, so if you would like to give a Powerpoint presentation all you will need to bring is a jump-drive with your presentation on it. You will also be able to connect to the internet during your presentation, if so desired. Additionally, overhead projectors and white-boards will be available in all of the session rooms.
