5th Regional Conference on Supplemental Instruction
May 25-27, 2011 (ARCHIVED)
Sponsored by the Student Learning Center
Purpose
Whether you are thinking about starting an SI Program or have a well-established program, this regional conference is a great place to learn from colleagues. We realized many years ago that one of the most beneficial parts of attending the International Conference on Supplemental Instruction, hosted every other year by the International Center for Supplemental Instruction at UMKC, is the time spent collaborating with people from other programs. We at Texas A&M University wanted to bring that same collegiality to regional SI programs in the “off-years” and developed this conference as an additional opportunity. Our conference provides a forum for academic administrators, SI professionals, SI staff, SI supervisors, SI faculty, and SI leaders to share experiences, concerns, challenges, and success.
Who Should Attend
Anyone interested in Supplemental Instruction — academic administrators, SI professionals, SI staff, SI supervisors, and SI leaders.
